Manager, Business Development - New York, NY
Gonga is seeking a Manager of Business Development who is obsessed with technology, social media and business strategy. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of
business development experience in the consumer Internet space with a heavy emphasis on negotiations, strategic planning/analysis and channel management. People who
are most sought after will involve helping source strategic business opportunities, developing a strong understanding of partner strategy, negotiating agreements to
completion, internal process management, and maintaining ongoing relationships between Gonga and key partners. Business Development at Gonga is responsible for
negotiating partnerships that generate new revenue streams, enhance and drive distribution of the Gonga brand online and offline, generate new users for the company
and focus on adding value to the Gonga user experience. The position is full-time and based in our main office in midtown New York City, NY. This position will report to the VP of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Marketing and Sales team to explore and secure advertising and cross-promotion deals that require product integration and/or other non-standard business terms
Negotiate distribution deals with large consumer online companies to create new entry points around the Web for new and existing Gonga users
Evaluate and explore strategic opportunities
Represent Gonga in meetings with senior executives from other companies
Requirements:

Gonga is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who is a Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude in a fast-moving business
environment to join the IT team and help build and maintain IT applications footprint. The ideal candidate will have experience
in process management and at least 3-5 years experience with new product development or an internet based company. This is a
full-time position based in our main office in midtown, New York City, NY and will report to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements on all IT projects
Document and manage business process flows charts
Provide hands-on functional & configuration support for applications in areas including Sales, Order Management, Ad Operations, Finance and HR
Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through consensus-building
Ensure initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes
Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction
Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support
Configure applications based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices
Promote user adoption by preparing training documentation and conduct training sessions for business users

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Worked on 2+ Order to Cash/ERP implementations with hands-on experience in configuration and customizations
Strong business acumen and working knowledge of functional and procedural process modeling methodologies
Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and experience running small to mid-size projects
Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects is required
Experience in software development lifecycle processes and methodologies on multiple project
Strong customer interaction, organizational and time-management skills required
